Project Phoenix

Morgan Ashurst carried out the design and construction of a 354,000 ft2 warehouse and distribution centre at the world’s biggest business park, Trafford Park, Manchester.

The project included an integrated two-storey office building with reception, staff rest areas, office administration, packing and despatch areas.

As part of the contract, Morgan Ashurst implemented sustainable initiatives on site such as rain water recycling and re-using crushed waste material, as part of the BRE Environmental Assessment Method certification (BREEAM).

Close coordination was required with the racking contractor to facilitate early access to the warehouse for fit-out.
