Goldthorpe Primary Care Centre

This community healthcare facility in Barnsley was one of the first primary care schemes to be built in the UK under the NHS Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) initiative.

It was also one of three initial schemes which were built by Morgan Ashurst for Barnsley Community Solutions. Goldthorpe Primary Care Centre houses a GP surgery and related health and social care facilities.

The centre is located in the midst of a development providing community and sports facilities, therefore consultation and engagement with stakeholders throughout the development process focused on understanding and integrating local needs and priorities.
