Wright Robinson Specialist College

Morgan Ashurst has been appointed as design and build contractor by Manchester Schools Services Limited, a special purpose PFI company owned by Hochtief PPP Solutions UK Limited and Barclays Private Equity.

The new secondary school will specialise in sport and art, and facilities will include a 25-metre swimming pool, Sport England natural and synthetic floodlit pitches and athletics track with synthetic field events areas.

Morgan Ashurst and Hochtief PPP Solutions (UK) carried out detailed design of the scheme and have worked closely with the end-user, Manchester City Council, to develop an affordable state-of-the-art facility that will benefit the school's pupils and the wider community. It will be the first operational Building Schools for the Future project in the country.
